While nothing was never really signed yet, Bale talked with director Danny Boyle about taking on the role. As Leonardo Dicaprio before him, Christian Bale has decided to drop out of the Steve Jobs although he was scriptwriter Aaron Sorkin’s (“Moneyball” , “the Social Network”) “top choice for the part”.

Sony looks for remplacement & Michael Fassbender (“X-Men: Days of Future Past” , “12 years a Slave”) has already been approached for the role.  They are also currently in discussions with Seth Rogen (“Neighbors” “50/50”) to play Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
