Robert De Niro & Jennifer Lawrence are in talkings to join David O’Russell for his next movie “Joy”. The director is really faithful to his actors to say the least because it would be the 3rd collaboration for Jennifer Lawrence & Robert De Niro for 3 films in a row (after “Silver Linings Playbook” & “American Hustle”). The “Silver Linings Playbook” would reteam for this movie on Joy Mangano, the inventor of the Miracle Mop. Jennifer Lawrence would act Joy & De Niro her father.
The story was originally written by “Bridesmaids” writer & is currently rewrote by David O. Russell. It would deal with the inventor’s family life in Long Island & her big break on QVC.
